ZX114ER5CS-xx modules are Samtec Edge Rate rugged high speed strips series Connector Saver breakout adapters. They provide access to all Samtec connectors signals for purpose of test and measurement.

ZX114ER5CS-xx modules are designed for:

1- Test and measurement for signal quality, characterization , manufacturing test and debug applications
2- Onboard ERM5 and ERF5 Samtec connectors , mating with any formfactor and height ERM5 and ERF5 connector series.
   a) All Samtec connector signals are accessible via accessible signal path.
   b) Dedicated GND reference test points, interfacing with host and test equipment.
   c) Any signal path may be altered by simple trace cut and paste.
   c) Ideal solution for manufacturing loopback test and test and development applications
3- Insertion loss > -2dB @ 3GHz

The shunts are available on both top and bottom sides of the breakout adapter.
ZX114ER5-xx modules are designed for:

2- Onboard ERM5 and ERF5 Samtec connectors , mating with any formfactor and height ERM5 and ERF5 connector series.

  ZX114ER5-xxP      Plug module types with onboard ERF5 connector along with accessible shunts from both sides of PCB
    This module can be placed in between host and DUT for test & measurements.

  ZX114ER5-xxPS    Plug only modules with accessible shunts from both sides of PCB
    This module provides access to all ERF5 type connector via onboard shunts using the stadnard 0402 SMD footprints.

  ZX114ER5-xxPH    Plug only modules with onboard headers
    This module provides access to all ERF5 type connector via onboard headers.
